He was being forced out shopping for the second time this week. Fire not only hated shopping, he also hated being dragged around. So when he was left behind for a little bit, he quickly walked off to the hat selection of the mall. He was hoping there’d be little of a crowd, and thus when he saw that the only nearby customer was another trainer, younger than him, but with a similar sense of fashion; the male quickly relaxed and calmed into a phlegmatic sort of state.
“... Hello.” He said, rather quietly to the other male, as he stepped beside him. “... Having fun?” It was clear Fire was not, but he was trying his hardest not to be rude at all. He smiled ever so slightly at the other male.
“You a trainer?” If this boy were, well, Fire would certainly have to test his skills in battle. After all, if anything, it’d keep him out of the sight of his current “caretaker”; who would otherwise drag him with her.
He muttered to himself, audibly, “It’s such a nice day out, I wonder why this place is so crowded?” then Fire frowned. He supposed they must have disagreed with that statement and therefore were shopping. Ah well, people were weird.
Touya looked over to the voice that he assumed had started to enitiate conversation with him. "Are you, um, talkin' to me?" He grinned, with some confusion and nervousness (mostly due to not knowing for sure if this boy was talking to him). "Well, no. I'm not having much fun." He laughed a little bit. "Shopping is sort of boring and I didn't really see any need for it... But still came. Weird, huh?" He couldn't help but feel like he had been babbling for too long.
He looked more closely at the boy, as he remembered being told that he wasn't a very observant person and should probably work on that. By the looked of this boy, he was also a trainer.
