Personality; Personality wise, Lucas is a little bit self centered and tends to act as though he is above others. This is one of his greatest weaknesses, as if he is proved wrong/out smarted he has short outbursts of frustration that often lead to temper tantrums. Lucas is also quite impatient, because he doesn't like to be kept waiting.
As the professors assistant, Lucas believes he is more intelligent than most average people. This is the main cause of his previously mentioned trait of acting above others. Lucas craves knowledge. If he can learn something new he will make sure he learns it quickly, but he will have to learn it independently, because Lucas likes to be the teacher and not the student.
Lucas tends to attempt to act like a mature adult, despite still being considered a minor. He absolutely can not stand being patronized. He doesn't believe he acts like a child and therefore should be treated more like an adult. Despite all of these traits, Lucas is still very clumsy and often breaks things.

Character History; Lucas grew up in the small town of Twinleaf, where he wasn't exposed to many places and types of people. So when he started his journey he was completely oblvivious to the dangers and worries of the world. However, Professor Rowan decided to take him under his wing, and teach him all he could want to know as his assistant. Rowan's latest task for Lucas is filling the Pokédex, so thats why he is travelling the world, looking for new pokémon.

Role Play Sample;
The warm environment of Sandgem Town lead to the sweet scents of the surrounding areas between Twinleaf Town and the former. The laboratory was just in reach and Lucas was prepared to work hard for the professor today. He was certain that he would one day also be a Pokémon professor, or some form of super and amazing intelligent person who knew all there was to know about Pokémon. Somehow, the later seemed so much more appealing for him.
When he reached the lab and entered, he was welcomed by the feeling of intelligence and importance. As the professors assistant, Lucas felt as if he was higher up in social standards to most other people and made his way forward to speak to Professor Rowan.
"What do you have to teach me today, prof'?" He asked, feeling like he was almost perfect and that the professor was just going to fine tune him into that final form of absolute perfection and vast knowledge.
The professor looked busy and had completely ignored Lucas and his request, or more, question. Lucas waited patiently for his seniors response and never received it.
"Professor Rowan?" He spoke louder this time, almost over annunciating as a means to gain attention from his senior.
The man looked to him and seemed almost surprised.
"You're early, Lucas." He said, which the young boy responded to with a self-satisfied smile.
"I know."
